Sour mustard soup – Ham choy tong

 

  • packet of pork ribs
  • 1 pack of ham choy – sour mustard vegetable
  • 5 tomatoes ( this is approx. can be less or more tomatoes depending on your taste)
  • water
  • chilli (optional)

Super simple and yummy soup.

  1. Boil spare ribs in water to wash it – throw the water way.
  2. Fill the pan with new water and bring to the boil.
  3. Rinse the ham choy in cold water and chop it up to manageable chunks
  4. Add it to the pot when the water is boiled.
  5. Cut tomatoes into big chunks and add to the water (add a few chopped chilli’s if you wish)
  6. Once boiling let it simmer on low for a few hours till pork is super soft.
